Make sure you go through the short tutorial which is offered when you start the app for the first time. Take your time and download the additional content like first and last trains and allow the app to use your location for more convenience.

If you enable notifications the app will send you alerts to keep you updated of any changes to the status of lines in which you are interested. Btw I am just checking the lines and it is nearby all blue which means Special Service. Only DLR, Northern and Overground are in good service.
